Adventure Time – Ghost Princess Review

I’ve been pretty bad at keeping up with the best new cartoons lately. I didn’t even know an Adventure Time comic is being released in February! It will be written by Ryan North of Dinosaur Comics fame. I’ll try my best to pick up a copy of the fist issue even if the pre-order is sold-out! In any case, Adventure Time is one of the best cartoons ever made! Here’s a review of Adventure Time season 3 episode 24, Ghost Princess.

Ghost Princess Review

Adventure Time Ghost Princess Season 3 Episode 24
First of all, I have to admit that I have a soft spot for cartoon soundtracks. The background music of Adventure Time has always been awesome and things have not changed in this episode.

The first few minutes of Ghost Princess are pretty funny. As you might of guessed, Finn and Jake meet Ghost Princess and decide to help her discover the cause of her death. Ghost Princess doesn’t like being a ghost… I have always liked detective cartoons and detective comics a.k.a. DC so the episode was already promising. I regret not watching most of Adventure Time season 3.

Another great moment is when Finn decides he will be the bad cop. Fist, Finn is way too nice to ever play this role realistically. Second, his first impression of a bad cop is essentially saying “Yo” a lot. In the end, Jake still doesn’t really pull of being the good cop very well.

The only flaw of this episode is the easy mystery. I am willing to bet that it will only take you one try to figure out who the murderer is. Yet, I am pretty sure you won’t be able to guess how the murder was done.

I strongly recommend that you watch Adventure Time – Ghost Princess when it airs on Cartoon Network!
